Important features: review covered benefits and claim history
When you need care, knowing what your dental plan covers is important. You can look up which procedures are covered and the amount covered. Your plan has an annual maximum, which is the total amount your plan pays each year for dental care. You can stay on top of your available benefits anytime by reviewing the claims and costs incurred for treatment. If your plan includes Maximum Rollover, a program that allows you to save unused benefit dollars for future use, you can easily check your rollover dollar balance anytime.
Each time you receive dental care, we will mail you an explanation of benefits (EOB) statement that explains how the claim was processed based on the services provided by your dentist, including the amount we paid and the amount you may owe. You can also view and print your EOBs online. The EOB is not a bill. When you receive an EOB, review it closely and compare it to the receipt or statement from your dentist.
Log in or set up your account
If you have a health plan with Florida Blue and have set up an account, you can view your dental plan information when you log into your account—you don’t need to set up a second, separate account. If you have a Florida Blue health plan but haven’t set up an account yet, you can do so now and be able to access your dental and health plan benefit information.
To create an account, log in at FloridaBlue.com and select Register Now.
Select Manage my plan and have your member ID handy (if you’re a caregiver, select Care for a loved one and have your welcome ID on hand)
Once you’ve completed registration, you’ll receive an email that verifies your identity (check your spam folder if you don’t see it in your inbox)
Choose and enter a username and password when prompted, and then log in
Download the Florida Blue app
You can view your health and dental plan information on our app. Search for Florida Blue on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, then log in with your member account username and password.
