Florida Blue Medicare Advantage Plans Have PPO dental benefits

Providers who participate in our Medicare Advantage (MA) PPO dental network deliver essential dental care to over 160,000 Florida Blue MA members. Please note that while these members may have an HMO MA plan, ALL dental benefits embedded in MA plans are PPO benefits.

Not all Florida Blue MA plans offer dental benefits, but those that do have embedded PPO dental benefits, whether a member has an HMO or PPO MA medical plan. The medical ID card issued to Florida Blue MA members also serves as their dental ID card. You may find that the medical plan type is not necessarily the same as the dental type.

Below is a list of all Florida Blue MA plans. It includes the medical and dental plan type for each plan. Only the dental plan type is associated with the network status of our participating providers. You can verify your patient’s eligibility at the My Patients’ Benefits website or by calling us at 1-866-445-5148.
