Learn about dental health

Taking good care of your mouth, teeth, and gums can help prevent bad breath, tooth decay, and gum disease. An unhealthy mouth can also affect a number of medical conditions.

This is especially true for people who are pregnant, have suffered a stroke, or have diabetes, coronary artery disease (CAD), Sjӧgren’s syndrome, COPD, end-stage renal disease, metabolic syndrome, oral or head and neck cancers. If you have any of these conditions, learn how our Oral Health for Overall HealthSM program can help you achieve better health and save on medical costs.

You’ll find a lot of valuable information that can help you have a healthy smile and body at our dental plan resources and dental health tips libraries.
